Job summary

High Country Search Group is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to design and implement automated test strategies for a highly scalable platform. This role collaborates with Software Development and Operations to strengthen test infrastructure and adopt AI-driven approaches to testing.

The position is hybrid onsite/remote, requiring 3 days per week in the DT Denver office. You will work with modern frameworks (Selenium/Cypress/Playwright) and languages such as C#/.NET, Java, Go, Ruby, Node.js, or

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing and implementing automated test suites for complex software systems.
• Experience leveraging AI to automate or improve software testing.
• Experience with modern test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
• Development experience in one or more languages (C#, Java, Go, Ruby, Node.js, Python).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated end-to-end and integration test suites for complex, distributed systems.
• Partner with software engineers and Operations Engineering to maintain a robust automated testing infrastructure.
• Identify manual testing opportunities to automate for efficiency and coverage.
• Translate requirements into test strategies, plans, and automated test cases.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines with reporting on quality and performance.
• Apply testing best practices across unit, integration, and end-to-end levels.
• Participate in code reviews with focus on testability and automation.
• Explore and implement AI-driven processes to scale testing.
