Job summary

High Country Search Group is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to lead automated testing for a next-generation platform. You will design end-to-end and integration tests, collaborate with software development and operations teams, and drive AI-driven test automation across distributed systems.

The role emphasizes modern testing infrastructure, CI/CD integration, and a strong quality culture in a hybrid onsite/remote setting in Denver.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing and implementing automated test suites for complex software systems.
• Experience leveraging AI to automate or improve software testing.
• Experience with modern test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
• Development experience in languages such as C#, Java, Go, Ruby, Node.js, Python.
• Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure).
• Strong communication and collaboration across product and operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated end-to-end and integration test suites for complex systems.
• Partner with developers and Operations to build robust automated testing infrastructure.
• Identify manual tests to automate for better coverage and efficiency.
• Translate requirements into test strategies, plans, and automated test cases.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines with clear reporting on quality.
