Job summary

Bain & Company’s AIS team is seeking MBA students for a PM&I Summer Associate role in New York or San Francisco. You’ll design, prototype, and launch digital products, integrating strategy, product, and technology.

You’ll work with cross-functional teams, turning ideas into MVPs and scalable experiences. Expect to collaborate with engineers, designers, and clients, shaping product roadmaps and learning to apply human-centered design, agile, and lean startup methods in a consulting context.

Qualifications

• MBA students who are passionate about technology, innovation, and product development
• Strong mix of business acumen and technical curiosity
• Ability to translate ideas into scalable digital experiences
• Exposure to agile, product management, or design thinking

Responsibilities

• Identify and validate opportunities for innovation using human-centered design methods.
• Translate user and business needs into product concepts, prototypes, and MVPs.
• Contribute to product vision, strategy, and roadmap development for digital initiatives.
• Partner with engineers, designers, and clients to test and iterate solutions rapidly.
• Leverage emerging technologies—including AI and data platforms—to accelerate business outcomes.
• Support backlog creation, story writing, acceptance criteria, and lightweight PRDs.
