Job summary

Micron Technology in Boise, Idaho, is seeking a Probe Equipment Engineer who will coordinate installation, modification, and advanced maintenance of semiconductor manufacturing equipment. You will work with cross-functional teams to boost tool availability, improve performance, and ensure outputs meet quality standards using data analytics, automation, and AI.

You will develop scripts and RPA solutions, apply AI/ML for predictive maintenance, and maintain equipment documentation and safety

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field.
• 0–2 years in engineering or semiconductor manufacturing preferred.
• Basic knowledge of statistics and data-driven problem solving.
• Experience with Python, SQL, VBA, MATLAB, or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Improve tool availability and reliability through data-driven decisions.
• Oversee TIQ activities to ensure compliant deployments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve equipment issues.
• Analyze tool data using statistics to ensure quality standards.
• Develop scripts and automation to boost efficiency and performance.
• Apply AI/ML where appropriate to enhance maintenance and process.
• Maintain documentation, supplier notices, upgrades, and safety records.
