Job summary

Google is seeking a Software Engineering Manager for the MIND team in Mountain View. You will lead a distributed group of engineers focused on transforming PTE quality reporting, data warehousing, and analytics to drive automated, intelligent quality insights across Google's platforms.

You'll guide architectural decisions for the MIND NextGen system and partner with Pixel, Wearables Testing, and other teams to deliver scalable, reliable pipelines.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience.
• 3+ years in a technical leadership role.
• 2+ years in people management or team leadership.
• Experience integrating generative AI tools or LLM interfaces into workflows.

Responsibilities

• Direct the architecture of data and pipelines for scalable ETL and AI-driven features.
• Drive AI integration by building intelligent agents to improve user experience and reliability.
• Mentor and coach US-based engineers with career development and performance planning.
• Collaborate with Pixel and Wearables Testing and SDT teams to unify data ecosystems.
• Lead roadmaps and OKRs to scale the platform and engineering excellence.
