Intelligent Generation in Oak Brook, Illinois, is seeking a Platform Engineering & AI Operations Lead to build the foundation for POWR:Suite and to scale AI-assisted operations. You'll lead the architecture of IG's cloud platform on GCP while enhancing deployment practices and operational reliability.

As a key leader, you will ensure platform standards are established and optimized for engineering delivery. This hybrid role offers the chance to shape how energy assets deliver economic value.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in platform engineering, infrastructure engineering, DevOps or related.
• Strong production GCP experience and Terraform expertise.
• Ability to build and govern engineering workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and operation of IG’s cloud platform on GCP.
• Build CI/CD practices for engineering delivery.
• Strengthen communication between field assets and cloud systems.
• Develop security operational standards for energy infrastructure.
