Job summary

Deloitte Technology in Hermitage, TN on-site seeks a skilled penetration tester to deliver offensive security services across web, API, network, mobile, and AI/LLM domains. You will use Kali Linux, Burp, Metasploit, and AI-assisted tools to identify vulnerabilities and guide remediation for global clients.

You will craft actionable reports, advance testing playbooks, and build AI-driven agents to automate recurring tasks while ensuring accuracy and minimizing false positives.

Qualifications

• Experience with common penetration testing OS platforms such as Kali Linux.
• Familiarity with Burp Professional, AMASS, Metasploit, Postman, Swagger, NMAP, Qualys, SQL Map.
• Familiarity with OWASP Top 10 weaknesses and vulnerabilities.
• Familiarity with AI models/frameworks from Anthropic/OpenAI; tools like Obsidian/Ollama are a plus.
• Working knowledge of at least one scripting language and one programming language.

Responsibilities

• Execute penetration testing engagements, including Web Application Penetration Testing.
• Execute penetration testing engagements, including Web Services and API Penetration Testing.
• Execute penetration testing engagements, including AI/LLM Penetration Testing.
• Execute Network Penetration Testing.
• Execute Mobile Application Penetration Testing.
• Execute Thick Client Penetration Testing.
• Provide consultative guidance to customers on findings in writing and verbally.
• Enhance and update testing methodologies, processes, and testing standards documentation.
• Leverage AI and LLM-based tools and prompt engineering to accelerate reconnaissance and refine testing scripts.
• Build, customize, and maintain AI-driven agents to automate recurring testing tasks.
• Continuously validate accuracy and reliability of self-developed AI tools to reduce hallucinations and false positives.
• Evaluate and integrate emerging AI-assisted offensive security tooling into playbooks.
• Analyze and understand complex architecture designs.
• Communicate the services and capabilities the group can facilitate for clients.
