Job summary

The Nuclear Company in Columbia, SC seeks a Senior Nuclear Training Specialist to design, develop, and deliver performance-based training programs across the regulatory affairs and training team. You will apply SAT to meet ANSI/ANS 3.1, 10 CFR 50.120, and INPO ACAD standards while scaling for fleet deployment and international clients.

You will create qualification standards, examinations, and program infrastructure from scratch, working at startup speed with nuclear-grade rigor and coordinating

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, education, or related field, or equivalent nuclear experience.
7+ years of progressive experience in commercial nuclear training.
Familiarity with ANSI/ANS 3.1, 10 CFR 50.120, NQA-1 quality requirements.
Experience supporting INPO-accredited training programs and program development.

Responsibilities

Design and develop training programs using the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT) per ANSI/ANS 3.1 and regulatory guidance.
Maintain training requirements matrix and support compliance training delivery and records.
Administer qualification tracking tools and monitor program health for leadership.
Deliver training services to utility, new-build, and pre-operational clients.
