Job summary

Dime Community Bank is hiring a Network Security Administrator I for its headquarters in Hauppauge, Long Island. The role focuses on leveraging data analytics, AI, ML, and security skills to continuously improve operation security across multiple systems.

This is an in-office role with compensation commensurate with experience. Responsibilities include cybersecurity projects, threat monitoring, network optimization, and evaluating security across on-premises and cloud environments (Azure & AWS).

Qualifications

• Proficient with cybersecurity and network management tools including SDWAN.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise networking concepts and security practices.
• Ability to analyze security data and coordinate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Execute projects and initiatives with internal stakeholders on cybersecurity and operational resilience for the organization.
• Maximize network security by monitoring performance, tracking threats, and scheduling upgrades.
• Continuously monitor AI/ML-derived security metrics to identify irregularities and mitigate threats.
• Evaluate security of network devices, OS, servers, cloud environments (Azure & AWS) and software including Windows Server 12-22, Active Directory and Office365.
• Active monitoring of all critical applications, memory-resident services, hardware, and storage.
• Monitor transport layer for network performance throughput optimization.
• Adhere to tight deadlines and drive for results with attention to detail.
