Job summary

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Bioinformatics, Genomics, Computational Biology or related field; lab experience preferred.
  • 0-3 months of full-time work experience.
  • Proven experience in genomics and omics data analysis (transcriptomics, metabolomics, microbiome).
  • Proficiency in Python, R, and Unix/Linux environments for data analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive research in microbiology and bioinformatics.
  • Develop ML models using genome and phenotypic data to predict resistance markers in bacteria.
  • Design and implement AI/ML pipelines for multi-omics data integration.
  • Conduct network-based analyses to identify biomarkers of resistance and response to stressors.
  • Collaborate with scientists for data interpretation and validation of computational findings.
  • Disseminate research through publications, conferences, and workshops.
  • Mentor graduate students and assist in training researchers in AI and -omics analyses.
