Job summary

Basata is seeking a Medical Assistant - AI Operations Associate to join the Partner Success Operations team. You’ll own workflow documentation, support implementations, and sustain post‑go‑live clinic operations while coordinating the BPO team on your accounts.

You’ll be the operational backbone for your assigned specialty clinics, ensuring Basata’s AI tools run as designed, translating tacit knowledge into auditable process maps, and collaborating with BPO and product teams to drive

Qualifications

2–3 years of experience as Medical Assistant or similar healthcare support role.
Strong knowledge of front‑desk and back‑office operations such as referral intake, fax management, scheduling, and EMR documentation.
Proficiency with electronic health record systems; familiarity with NextGen, AthenaOne/Athena Practice, ModMed is a plus.

Responsibilities

Build and own clinic-specific workflow documentation for assigned accounts from day one, including front‑desk intake, referrals, fax routing, and staff escalation paths.
Support go‑live readiness checklists, coordinate EMR access and staff training, and surface blockers before delays.
Own day‑to‑day operational health of assigned clinic accounts post‑go‑live, monitor workflow drift, and gather feedback for product/process improvements.
