Job summary

First Databank (FDB) in Carmel, IN is seeking a Prizm Application Specialist (Developer) to design, develop, and maintain the Prizm Medical Device Database and MDMS, applying Python, Java, CSS, and HTML skills along with AI-enabled tooling.

You will collaborate with QA, data teams, and product partners to deliver reliable data builds, scalable interfaces, and automated ETL pipelines, ensuring data quality and FDA compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of software development experience with Python, Java, CSS and HTML.
• Experience building database-backed web apps, ETL pipelines, and AI-enabled tools.
• Knowledge of FDA data sources, data categorization, and data integration.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain the Prizm Medical Device Database and MDMS.
• Own and implement MDMS UI and data workflows.
• Automate data workflows with Python and manage ETL pipelines.
• Integrate data from FDA sources, categorization sources, and client APIs.
• Develop AI-enabled tools and validation routines within data pipelines.
• Collaborate with QA, product, and database teams to ensure reliability.
