Job summary

Teradata offers a summer internship program spanning 10-12 weeks, typically May to August/September, in a fast-paced, collaborative setting. You will document workflows, prototype AI-enabled solutions, and build scalable materials to support adoption across Legal and People teams.

You will learn how AI and automation improve enterprise processes while maintaining governance and human oversight. The program emphasizes practical, hands-on experience with cross-functional partners.

Qualifications

• Academic or project experience in artificial intelligence, data/analytics, information systems, computer science, business process improvement, human resources, legal operations, or a related field.
• Experience with generative AI tools, prompt design, workflow automation, low-code/no-code platforms, data visualization, process mapping, or user research.
• Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to turn ambiguous problems into structured requirements and actionable next steps.
• Curiosity, sound judgment, attention to detail, and comfort with confidential business information.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Legal and People team stakeholders to document workflows, pain points, controls, data inputs, handoffs, and outcomes.
• Research and prototype AI-enabled automation solutions for approved use cases.
• Build reusable process maps, requirements, test scenarios, and adoption materials.
• Evaluate outputs for accuracy, privacy, security, and responsible AI considerations; document risks.
• Support pilots by gathering feedback, analyzing results, and recommending improvements.
