Job summary

Ohio State University is seeking an Intermediate Learning Systems Developer to join the LS Software Development Team in ODEE. You will design, develop, and deploy scalable enterprise applications and data integrations used by more than 80,000 students, faculty and staff, delivering reliable, AI-assisted solutions with solid oversight.

You will collaborate across teams, provide daily support and incident resolution, and help advance CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 2 years frontend development with React.js, TypeScript, HTML5, and modern CSS.
• Hands-on experience with ASP.NET Core (.NET 8+), EF Core, and RESTful APIs.
• 1–2 years working with PostgreSQL, MSSQL, or Redis.
• Proficiency with Git version control.
• Experience using AI developer tools for code generation and testing.
• Strong software engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable enterprise applications and data integrations.
• Collaborate with LS team and others to deliver enterprise-wide solutions.
• Provide ongoing daily support and incident resolution for applications.
• Lead initiatives involving AI-assisted development and quality assurance.
• Implement containerized CI/CD systems and maintain code integrity.
