Job summary

The Nuclear Company seeks a seasoned Land Specialist to secure land rights for nuclear development projects from FEL 0 through FEL 3. You will own the land workstream, define land requirements, engage owners, secure access, and resolve title and third-party interests ahead of FID.

You will maintain site control across interconnection and regulatory requirements, manage road, rail, and utility easements, and leverage AI-enabled tools and GIS to accelerate property research and due diligence,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Real Estate or related field or equivalent experience.
10+ years in land acquisition, right-of-way, or real estate for large energy projects.
Ownership of multi-parcel assemblage from identification through closing.
Experience with title examination, easements, and ALTA/NSPS surveys.
Experience negotiating with public agencies and infrastructure owners.

Responsibilities

Define land requirements and the footprint for projects.
Maintain parcel register and classification of parcels.
Lead landowner engagement and negotiate options, leases, and purchase agreements.
Secure access instruments for non-invasive and invasive work.
Manage title, curative work, and mineral severance; resolve issues promptly.
Acquire corridor rights for interconnection and offsite laydown land.
Deliver land deliverables at each gate and manage land records in NOS.
