Job summary

Carter Lumber is seeking a Kitchen and Bath Estimator with knowledge in AI to design, quote, and bid kitchens and baths. You will produce drawings and pricing from customer blueprints using 2020 Design and Excel.

You will analyze specifications, read architectural plans, and collaborate with Sales to ensure designs are accurate and timely. CAD experience is a plus and a strong belief in the company mission is valued.

Qualifications

• Knowledgeable in the basic aspects of construction.
• Experience using 2020 Design and Excel.
• Knowledgeable in applying product knowledge to designs.
• Demonstrated ability to use AI tools effectively.

Responsibilities

• Creates design illustrations from blueprints to produce working drawings.
• Completes and finalizes designs for installation.
• Evaluates designs to ensure that design standards are met.
• Reviews specifications and blueprints to determine design factors for cabinets.
• Communicates with the team, customers and Sales to ensure designs are accurate.
