Job summary

Midwest Fastener Corp is seeking a Graphic Design Coordinator for an onsite role in Northfield, OH. The position blends traditional graphic design with AI-enhanced workflows to move from concept to final assets across internal and external marketing needs.

You will partner across teams to translate strategic goals into visuals while maintaining quality and consistency to support business objectives. The role requires 3–5 years of experience and a strong command of Adobe Creative Suite.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in graphic design, branding, or marketing.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other design software.
• Experience with layout design, typography, and digital content creation.
• Knowledge of web and print design best practices.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail, including reviewing design proofs for accuracy.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and produce internal and external assets including newsletters, presentations, flyers, and promotional materials.
• Use AI technology and tools to support concept development, mood boards, variations, and rapid prototyping to accelerate ideation and improve efficiency.
• Develop and manage the company’s Sales & Marketing Design XP images.
• Support Design XP users alongside the IT/Sales Liaison.
• Collaborate with marketing, product, and content teams to translate strategic goals into compelling visual solutions.
• Work with clients and supervisors to evaluate project needs and ensure alignment with branding.
• Create illustrations, sketches, and layouts based on project specifications, including determining size, style, and arrangement of design elements.
• Develop and maintain brand guidelines to support consistency across touchpoints.
• Research and integrate images, photographs, and typography for strong visual presentation.
• Create motion graphics or lightweight animations for social and digital campaigns (preferred, not required).
• Present concepts and final designs to supervisors or clients for approval, then prepare layouts for printing, digital distribution, or web use.
• Review and approve print proofs to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Maintain and organize image resource files to support efficient production.
• Ensure designs adhere to brand guidelines and corporate identity standards.
