Job summary

Cisco Systems is seeking a high-caliber strategic leader to head the Global Events Marquee and Industry portfolio. You will define the vision and direct execution of integrated engagement strategies to amplify Cisco’s brand globally, while driving measurable revenue through the event portfolio.

You will lead a team of engagement managers and work with Brand, Strategy, and PM teams to ensure premium Cisco brand experiences at marquee events and Cisco Live Global.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of event marketing within the high-tech sector.
• 15+ years of strategic communications experience.
• 10+ years of proven leadership in managing high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

• Architect Engagement Strategy: Direct the development and execution of multi-channel marketing and communications strategies across owned and paid channels to drive attendee outcomes and sales engagement.
• Drive AI-enabled innovation: Champion an AI-first model to streamline content development, consolidate processes, and scale assets across the event portfolio.
• Cross-functional leadership: Partner with Marquee and Industry Team PM, Event Strategy, and Brand teams to ensure a cohesive Cisco brand experience globally.
• Operational Excellence & KPI Management: Define and report on KPIs tracking event efficacy and ROI; collaborate with Sales and Marketing to optimize customer journey programs.
• Team Leadership: Mentor senior and mid-level managers; foster growth, high performance, and vendor relationship management.
• Advisory: Provide data-driven recommendations to shape future event communication and engagement strategy.
