Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic) and embeddings.
• Strong command of modern web stacks (React/Next.js, Node.js/Nest/Fastify, Python/FastAPI).
• Solid understanding of architecture, scalability, performance, and security.
• Bias toward shipping with best practices: testing, code reviews, monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Design and ship end-to-end applications from prototype to production across frontend, backend, and cloud.
• Build APIs and services and integrate AI models for real value.
• Create AI pipelines (ingestion, preprocessing, embeddings, retrieval, orchestration).
• Engineer prompting strategies and guardrails for performance, cost, accuracy.
• Integrate AI features into full-stack apps with robust APIs and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with designers, PMs, and engineers to deliver polished product experiences.
• Evaluate new AI tools/models for performance and fit.
