Job summary

Fixity Technologies is seeking a senior software engineer to design and deliver Java-based microservices in a dynamic, agile environment. You will work within GitLab/GitHub DevOps pipelines, leveraging AWS ECS and related services to deploy secure, scalable applications. Emphasis on AI DLC integration and rigorous SDLC practices.

The role requires deep Java experience, strong design skills (UML), and hands-on cloud know-how, with collaboration across multiple teams and rapid iteration.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on development in Java/JEE and RESTful services.
• Experience in GitLab/GitHub based DevOps environments and SDLC best practices.
• Strong AWS cloud experience including ECS, S3, RDS and security tooling.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain Java-based microservices in fast-moving projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and Product Owner to deliver features.
• Lead code reviews and ensure adherence to security and architectural standards.
