Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of experience designing and building websites.
• Proficiency building WordPress sites including themes, plugins and page builders.
• Solid understanding of UX/UI best practices, mobile-responsive design and accessibility basics.
• Active interest in how AI is changing search and ability to discuss implications for clients.
• Working knowledge of AEO and structured data implementation and understanding of schema markup.

Responsibilities

• Design and build WordPress websites and landing pages using Beaver Builder or similar tools, balancing design with clean code.
• Translate briefs and StoryBrand messaging into compelling, conversion-focused layouts.
• Customize WordPress themes, configure plugins and build new pages with strong UX/UI and mobile responsiveness.
• QA sites thoroughly and provide clear, actionable documentation.
• Manage ongoing site maintenance, enhancements and content updates across multiple client accounts.
• Optimize images and media for fast load times and accessibility.
• Create and maintain internal how-to documentation for development processes.
