Job summary

Pioneer Investments, a cornerstone of Victory Capital Management, seeks a Credit Research Analyst to join the Corporate Credit Research team in Boston. The role integrates fixed income analytics with AI tools to support portfolio construction, risk evaluation, and trading decisions for PMs and traders.

You will develop models, evaluate securitized assets, and present insights to investment professionals. The team values rigorous quantitative work and clear communication of results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in quantitative field required (master’s preferred).
• 2–4 years of experience in fixed income research, credit research, or portfolio analytics.
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL. Experience with AI.
• Fluent use of AI tools for coding, research, and internal tool development.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quantitative credit research, portfolio construction, and relative value analysis across corporate and securitized sectors.
• Support securitized product analytics, including prepayment behavior, servicer analysis, and cash flow modeling for Agency MBS.
• Develop and maintain quantitative risk and valuation models in Python used in trading and portfolio management of fixed income instruments.
• Explore and build proprietary AI applications to support the fixed income investment process.
• Partner with portfolio managers and senior research analysts on model portfolios and asset allocation, and evaluate portfolio risk, construction, and optimization.
• Support sustainable investment measurement for client mandates.
• Present research results using data visualization tools and maintain the databases used by the research group.
