Job summary

Pioneer Investments, a diversified asset management firm and a key franchise of Victory Capital Management, is seeking a Credit Research Analyst to join our Corporate Credit Research team. This role builds quantitative models across credit and securitized markets to support portfolio construction, risk evaluation, and trading decisions.

You will develop and maintain Python-based models, support AI applications, and present research results to investment professionals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field; master’s preferred.
• 2–4 years of experience in fixed income research, credit research, or portfolio analytics.
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL; experience with AI tools for coding and research.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quantitative credit research and relative value analysis across corporate and securitized sectors.
• Support securitized product analytics, including prepayment behavior and cash flow modeling for Agency MBS.
• Develop and maintain quantitative risk and valuation models in Python for fixed income trading and portfolio management.
• Explore and build proprietary AI applications to support the fixed income investment process.
• Collaborate with portfolio managers and senior analysts on model portfolios and asset allocation; evaluate risk and optimization.
• Support sustainable investment measurement for client mandates.
• Present research results using data visualization tools and maintain databases used by the research group.
