Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
• 4+ years of experience in a finance, analytical, or operations role.
• Curiosity about how AI tools can be used, evidenced by self-taught skills.
• Perseverance solving ambiguous problems until a working solution.
• Critical thinking to decompose messy business problems into clear logic.
• Advanced Excel skills and comfort with data.
• No required coding; willingness to learn AI tool direction.
• Clear written and verbal communication; able to present to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with internal software, lending, or AI tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Meet with business users to understand current workflows and where processes break down.
• Document workflows clearly to scope and test against real problems.
• Differentiate real product problems from training issues or complaints.
• Learn to direct AI coding agents to build financial models and internal tools under guidance.
• Prototype quickly, Front-end early versions to users and adjust based on feedback.
• Review AI-generated output for accuracy before production use.
• Expand scope over time as judgment and technical fluency grow.
• Build and maintain financial models supporting lending programs.
• Flag data issues or assumptions that could change model outputs.
• Provide post-launch support and address user questions.
