Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a candidate to build an intelligence layer that reveals how work flows across people, code, systems, and AI. You will design context systems and workflows to assist planning, delivery, and quality in enterprise software.

You will develop reusable platform capabilities and evaluation frameworks, and rapidly experiment with new AI models to turn ideas into customer‑facing capabilities. This role emphasizes data‑driven improvements and practical engineering leadership.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering fundamentals.
• History of building products, systems, tools, automation, or workflows.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly and independently.
• Experience using AI to accelerate development, research, analysis, or decision‑making.
• Strong problem‑solving skills in ambiguous environments.
• Ability to move from idea to implementation rapidly.
• Evidence of curiosity, initiative, and self‑directed learning.

Responsibilities

• Build the intelligence layer that helps engineering organizations understand how work happens across people, code, systems, and AI.
• Create agents and workflows that use operational context to assist with planning, delivery, review, quality, reliability, and decision‑making.
• Design the context systems, memory, tooling, and retrieval capabilities for AI in enterprise software development.
• Build evaluation frameworks that measure humans, AI, and human‑AI systems against real engineering outcomes.
• Develop reusable platform capabilities to help customers build, deploy, govern, and improve AI‑powered engineering workflows.
• Rapidly experiment with emerging models, tools, and techniques, turning promising ideas into customer‑facing capabilities.
• Use data and evidence to identify bottlenecks in software delivery and create products that improve.
• Help define what great engineering looks like when humans and AI build software together.
