Job summary

APTIM seeks an experienced Software Analyst to support our EMIS platform and client applications in Irvine, CA. You will blend software, AI, and data analysis to deliver client-centered solutions.

The role requires 8+ years of experience in AI/software support, proficiency with SQL, Power BI/Tableau, and cloud services, plus strong documentation and communication skills. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related technical field.
• 8+ years of experience in AI, software support, programming, EHS or EMIS role with focus on software systems, data analysis, and system management.
• Experience with LLMs/AI tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude) and knowledge of software administration, APIs and databases.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI driven projects including client projects and internal initiatives.
• Elicit and document requirements from business stakeholders on systems and data needs.
• Develop workflows and configure enterprise solutions per project requirements.
• Create dashboards/reports using Power BI or Tableau for EHS data insights.
• Support EMIS platforms (Enablon, Cority, Intelex, Velocity, Locus) and data integration.
• Prepare training materials for internal/client staff on system use and safe work practices.
• Assist with UAT, debugging, and patch delivery; manage config migrations.
