Job summary

Broadcom in Fort Collins, CO, is seeking an Electrical Hardware & AI Integration Engineer to bridge IT and design engineering. You will apply hands-on hardware design and power electronics expertise to evolve our stacks, leveraging AI to accelerate workflows and automate circuit analyses.

The role covers hardware validation, embedded firmware development, and PCB/system design for high-speed systems, with opportunities for growth and impact across engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and relevant hands-on experience.
• Experience in fast-paced environments handling satellite communications, power converters, or high-speed digital systems.
• Ability to lead technical teams or professional organizations (IEEE or FSAE-Electric) is valued.

Responsibilities

• Interface between GTO and design engineering to translate hardware requirements into IT solutions.
• Perform hardware validation and analysis, evaluating margins with WCCA and sensitivity studies.
• Identify AI tools to automate engineering tasks and enhance workflows.
• Support mixed-signal hardware design, schematic work, and multi-layer PCB layout.
• Contribute to board bring-up and testing with high-speed digital systems.
• Develop and tune embedded firmware (C/C++, Python) for closed-loop control and power regulation.
