Job summary

Micron Technology is a world leader in memory and storage solutions. The DRAM Power Engineer role focuses on analyzing power behavior, developing models, and guiding architecture to balance performance and energy efficiency across AI-enabled memory products.

The candidate will work with Design, Product Engineering, and System Architecture teams to implement power improvements and drive power target definition throughout product development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related field with 3+ years of experience, or a Master's/PhD.
• Experience in DRAM architecture, memory subsystems, power analysis, modeling, or data analysis.
• Strong problem-solving and cross-team collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform AI-assisted DRAM power analysis, including IDD characterization and workload-based modeling.
• Develop and maintain power models, methodologies, and tools for DRAM architectures.
• Translate power requirements into architectural recommendations for product decisions.
• Define and support DRAM power targets throughout development.
• Partner with Design, Product Engineering, and System Architecture teams to implement power improvements.
