Job summary

Isomorphic Labs seeks a senior DMPK leader to drive the DMPK strategy for drug discovery projects, delivering high-quality clinical candidates while advancing AI-first ADME models. You will collaborate with Drug Design, Medical Research, and Platform teams to shape assay strategies and regulatory documentation.

The role requires 7–10+ years in DMPK within biotech/pharma, with a PhD and expertise in biotransformation and PK modelling. Hybrid working with office presence 3 days a week is offered.

Qualifications

• PhD in Pharmaceutical Science, Pharmacy, Chemistry or another relevant subject.
• 7-10+ years’ professional experience in a DMPK role within biotech/pharma.
• Experience developing DMPK and quantitative pharmacology packages for early clinical development, including regulatory documents.
• Experience partnering with Preclinical and Clinical teams.
• In-depth knowledge of biotransformation.
• In-depth knowledge of PK modelling and scaling of ADME properties.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement stage-appropriate DMPK strategies with an AI-first approach, integrating quantitative pharmacology and project strategies.
• Design screening cascades and mechanistic experiments to support project progression in a data-driven manner.
• Integrate DMPK, PD and toxicology data to extract decision-making information, including dose and safety window predictions.
• Define Quantitative Pharmacology strategy in collaboration with Pharmacology Leads.
• Optimise the use of Iso’s datasets to address DMPK questions and advance the field.
• Optimise molecule design with physico-chemistry and biotransformation knowledge in collaboration with Chemistry Leads.
• Maintain knowledge of state-of-the-art technologies and methods to increase confidence in human PK prediction.
• Author DMPK sections of regulatory documents.
• Embrace and champion a culture of inclusion and continuous professional development.
