Job summary

NeoGenomics Laboratories in Aliso Viejo, CA seeks a Digital Pathology Specialist to support AI-enabled digital pathology across the enterprise. You will install, validate, and maintain WSI/IMS solutions, collaborate with Operations, Medical Services, and IT, and coordinate with external vendors.

The role requires 2+ years in digital pathology or related fields, experience with scanners and IMS, and familiarity with CAP guidelines and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience in Digital Pathology, Laboratory, and/or IT.
• HT/HTL (ASCP) preferred.
• Knowledge of CAP WSI validation guidelines and digital pathology standards.
• Experience with digital pathology scanners, IMS, and AI platforms.
• Regulatory requirements knowledge and detail-oriented data capture.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation and validation strategies for AI-enabled digital pathology.
• Design and schedule validation study plans with Operations and Medical services.
• Serve as operational lead for digital pathology scanning initiatives across sites.
• Prepare reports documenting development activities and system performance.
• Act as primary contact for scanner/IMS vendors during deployments and upgrades.
• Ensure site readiness, including network and storage connectivity and integration testing.
• Lead IQ/OQ/PQ reports with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Collaborate with IT on AI-enabled equipment and tools.
• Assist in creating SOPs and department forms per regulatory requirements.
• Travel: 20-30% required.
