Job summary

Equinix is seeking a hands-on Platform Engineer with DevSecOps focus to design and operate secure CI/CD pipelines and platform automation in a Dallas, TX data-centric environment.

You will implement IaC, containerized deployments, and AI-enabled workflows, collaborating with Security and Infrastructure teams to ensure governance and reliability.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in DevSecOps or platform engineering, strong scripting in Python/Go/Java, and cloud experience across AWS/Azure/GCP.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevSecOps, Platform Engineering, or related engineering role.
• Hands-on CI/CD pipeline engineering (GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Strong Python/Go/Java programming skills.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with microservices and distributed systems.
• Hands-on with IaC tools (Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation).
• Working knowledge of containers and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the build, maintenance, and improvement of secure CI/CD pipelines and reusable templates.
• Develop platform automation to improve developer experience and deployment consistency.
• Write and maintain IaC for repeatable environments.
• Support cloud-native apps using containers and Kubernetes, incl. troubleshooting.
• Integrate SAST/DAST/SCA in pipelines and implement IAM and secrets controls.
• Implement AI/GenAI-enabled capabilities in pipelines and agent-based workflows.
• Document standards, patterns, and runbooks for onboarding.
