Monaco is building an AI-native revenue platform that unifies data and workflows. This is a category-defining shift that combines a lean, high-autonomy team with a focus on scalable, production-grade systems.

As a Data Platform Engineer, you’ll own building scalable pipelines, supporting ML workflows, and addressing distributed systems challenges to power our AI-driven product. This is an in-person SF role with deep ownership and fast execution.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building data platforms, ML infrastructure, or backend systems.
• Experience with distributed systems and production-grade data pipelines.
• Proven ability to lead architecture decisions and scale production systems.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable pipelines and event-driven systems for ingesting, transforming, and serving data.
• Support ML workflows: training data, evaluation, embeddings, feature pipelines.
• Solve distributed systems challenges around reliability, latency, consistency, and scale.
• Improve observability, tooling, and developer experience for data, ML, and agent systems.
