Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in cybersecurity, IT, CS or risk management.
• Experience supporting cybersecurity risk assessments, security compliance activities, application security reviews, or third-party risk management.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity controls, risk management concepts, vulnerability management, and remediation practices.
• Experience coordinating work across technical teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors.
• Strong organizational and communication skills for documentation, findings and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Administers, operates and monitors NextEra Energy information security sensors, logging and detection to identify threats.
• Develops subject matter expertise for one or more cybersecurity technology stacks.
• Collaborates with security architecture to evaluate new security technologies.
• Communicates cybersecurity activities, priorities and risk measurements to leadership.
• Guides security activities in SDLC and application development, and participates in related projects.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
