Job summary

Management Controls Inc in Houston, TX seeks a Business Intelligence Analyst II to generate and present Reporting and Insights data for internal and external customers. You will leverage AI tools to streamline analytics, deliver dashboards, and translate complex findings into clear communications.

Responsibilities include data analysis, validating insights, and collaborating with senior staff to drive cost and performance improvements through Power BI visualizations and TVMs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Designation or an equivalent combination of related experience and education.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Data Analysis with IT experience.
• Proven experience as cost analyst or similar role.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of AI applications in project management and data prep.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with MServ/Account Executive for client delivery of Insights.
• Gather and analyze data to identify business insights and anomalies.
• Translate findings into clear stakeholder communications.
• Validate Insights data and report results.
• Communicate value via value models to clients and internal teams.
• Investigate variances in data points and prepare reports.
• Provide information to support business decisions on costs and trends.
• Conduct audits on processes and transactions and monitor changes.
• Suggest cost-reducing or profitable solutions and enhancements.
