Job summary

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional development in Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with SQL databases (MariaDB/MySQL or PostgreSQL).
• Proficiency with Git and code review workflows.
• Foundational IT knowledge: networking, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, TLS, and the Linux command line.
• Experience with AI coding assistants and evaluating their output.
• Ability to explain technical issues to non-technical colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain internal web applications, APIs, and automations.
• Help migrate external prototypes to internal hosting and deploy on Kubernetes.
• Support AI-assisted development tools while ensuring security and maintainability.
• Review code and guide colleagues through workflows.
• Write documentation and establish templates and best practices.
