Job summary

Stand Together is seeking an AI & Automation Analyst to bolster core accounting operations and expand automation initiatives from day one. Ideal for candidates 1–2 years out of college who view technology as a multiplier for efficiency.

The role provides hands-on experience with month-end close, financial reporting, internal controls, and audit preparation. Open to applicants in the Washington DC area and Wichita, KS, offering opportunities to work closely with automation tools and ERP systems

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or related field.
1–2 years of accounting experience (internships and entry-level roles count).
Experience with ERP systems (Sage Intacct, NetSuite, Oracle).
Experience with Snowflake or other data warehouse/analytics platforms.

Responsibilities

Prepare and record journal entries with appropriate support and documentation.
Perform monthly account reconciliations and investigate variances.
Assist with month-end and year-end close activities.
Maintain accurate general ledger records in accordance with internal controls.
Identify repetitive workflows and partner with senior team members to automate them.
Document automated processes and maintain clear audit trails.
Assist in preparing internal financial reports and schedules.
Support audit requests by compiling schedules and documentation.
Identify process gaps and raise improvement ideas to the team.
Participate in testing and adopting new tools or system enhancements.
