Job summary

Physical Superintelligence, based in Boston, is seeking an IP-focused leader to translate platform outputs into durable assets. You will own the portfolio of problems, decide on publication, patenting, trade secrets, or open source, and steer the process with an eye for value and risk.

You will build an IP pipeline, manage disclosures, coordinate with outside counsel, and ensure filings precede disclosures while guarding against improper releases.

Qualifications

• PhD level technical depth in physics or adjacent field.
• Experience turning research results into assets (patents, publications, trade secrets).
• Ability to judge scientific vs commercial value and manage risk.

Responsibilities

• Map landscape of open physics problems to prioritize campaigns.
• Define rule sets for classifying results and routing to committee.
• Build and manage IP intake, triage, and filing cadence.
• Coordinate with outside counsel and internal teams on strategy.
• Ensure compliance with export control and NDA protocols.
