You'll join a fast-paced, project-oriented team focused on reliability at scale while helping shape the future of AI-driven operations.**Key Responsibilities*** Design, build, operate, and continuously improve AI agents that automate operational, engineering, and support workflows.* Develop agent orchestration frameworks using large language models (LLMs), tool integrations, structured workflows, and workflow-based automation patterns.* Build and maintain automation pipelines that combine AI reasoning and decision-making with deterministic systems, controls, and operational processes.* Implement Python-based services supporting AI agent execution, control, and integration with internal platforms including APIs, ITSM systems, CI/CD pipelines, and observability tools.* Design and evolve CI/CD pipelines for AI-enabled services and automation platforms.* Serve as an escalation point for complex AI and automation issues while identifying opportunities to improve reliability and reduce manual effort through agentic automation.* Document architectures and workflows, research emerging AI technologies, and develop proofs of concept to evaluate new capabilities.**Required Qualifications*** Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.* Expert-level Python development experience with strong knowledge of automation and orchestration frameworks.* Experience designing and supporting CI/CD pipelines, working with Git, and integrating systems through REST APIs.* Proficiency in YAML and JSON.* Experience building AI agents, autonomous systems, or AI-driven automation solutions, with familiarity with LLMs, prompt engineering, and tool-calling frameworks.* Experience combining AI decision logic with deterministic automation and designing event-driven, workflow-based systems.* Strong analytical and systems-thinking skills.* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently in ambiguous environments and collaborate effectively across global teams.**Preferred Qualifications*** Experience with Terraform, infrastructure-as-code practices, Ansible, or other configuration management tools.* Experience with JavaScript, databases, and modern application development technologies.* Experience working within financial services, fintech, or other regulated industries.This position will be located in **New York****City****or Philadelphia** and offers the opportunity for a **hybrid work environment at least 3 days a week in-office**, subject to change, providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.*This posting is for an existing vacancy within Nasdaq* .**Come as You Are**Nasdaq is an equal opportunity employer.
