Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to understand and automate customer workflows with AI solutions.
• Strong foundations in data structures, data modeling, and software architecture.

Responsibilities

• Productize and deploy AI solutions within the sponsor's collection mechanisms.
• Support operations with bug fixes and software updates for deployed AI components.

Introduction

The Sponsor requires contractor support to help transition the office to new Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies to modernize current collection processes. The resources will train machine learning models and provide support for the productization and development of AI-based systems for use as part of the Sponsor's collection mechanisms.

Work Requirements

• The Contractor Team shall train machine learning models in a variety of ways, to meet a variety of functions, including but not limited to: Synthesis of code to be used for automated webscrapes; Automation of other functions related to webscrapes, including detection and "self-healing" of scrapes; Automated visual detection of object types (like types of vehicles, license plates, etc.) within video data; Automated review and analysis of terms of service of companies; Automating open source collection of data that could be used to train Sponsor-owned AI/ML systems and models.
• The Contractor Team shall provide Model training based on training data that may need to be acquired from other components.
• The Contractor Team shall create complete AI-based systems, which may include multiple inputs, models, human-review processes and outputs ETL processes and databases.
• The Contractor Team shall provide Productization and development of AI-based systems for use as part of collection mechanisms.
• The Contractor Team shall provide support to operational elements that are using these systems including break fix work and software updates.
• The Contractor Team shall research AL/ML technologies in open source to ensure that applicable cutting-edge technologies and capabilities are being brought to bear on Sponsor efforts.
• The Contractor Team shall support the efforts to collaborate with other elements across the Sponsor and community that are engaged in AI efforts.
• The Contractor Team shall Frame and scale data problems to effectively analyze, visualize and find data solutions.
• The Contractor Team shall develop and support scalable and secure functionality into software applications, focusing on integrating and implementing Artificial Intelligence (AI) algorithms and logic into the deliverables of an IT project.
• The Contractor Team shall understand business objectives and develop models that help to achieve them, along with metrics to track progress.
• The Contractor Team shall derive insights and analytic narratives from data and visualizations for effective storytelling and clear communication in response to specific research questions.
• The Contractor Team shall analyze technology trends related to Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML), and their strategic implications.
• The Contractor Team shall perform independent technical research in relevant areas; robotics, autonomy, software, engineering, data analysis.
• The Contractor Team shall collaborate with customers and stakeholders to understand and assess business
• requirements and define AI solutions to align with architectural: framework and meet business needs.
• The Contractor Team shall be familiar with disciplines such as Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning, Predictive modeling, Statistical Analysis and Hypothesis testing.
• The Contractor Team shall program a system to look for or seek out specific conditions and respond based on those factors.

Required Skills and Demonstrated Experience:

• Demonstrated experience with the ability to understand and automate customer workflows and business processes with AI solutions
• Demonstrated experience in data structures, data modeling, and software architecture
• Demonstrated in-depth experience and knowledge of machine learning tools and frameworks such as PyTorch, Tensorflow, etc.
• Demonstrated experience with extensive math and computer science skills, with a deep understanding of probability, statistics, and algorithms
• Demonstrated experience in AVML specific programming languages, such as Python, Jav, C++, Conda, etc.
• Demonstrated experience training AI models, as well as in integrating pre-trained models into dataflows and software architecture.

Highly Desired Skills and Demonstrated Experience:

• Demonstrated experience implementing secure AI solutions in the Intelligence Community
• Demonstrated experience working with highly sensitive data sets
• Demonstrated experience in leading AVML initiatives
• Demonstrated experience and in-depth knowledge of implementing ETL (Enhance/Transform/Load) pipeline
• Demonstrated experience and in-depth knowledge in implementing solutions in Amazon Web Services
