Job summary

Entrust seeks an AI Developer Intern to join a hands-on team pushing AI boundaries. Youll work on real projects, collaborating with stakeholders to craft AI solutions and optimize applications. Expect hands-on coding, graphQL data support, and multi-agent workflow design in a hybrid setup at our Shakopee, MN HQ.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and ready to learn. A BS/MS path in Computer Engineering or Data Science with Vue/React/Node.js experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Pursuing BS or MS in Computer Engineering, Data Science or related field.
• Junior or Senior standing by December 2025 with GPA 3.0+.
• Experience with Vue.js, React and Node.js development frameworks.
• Knowledge of LLMs, prompt engineering and fine tuning.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify AI opportunities.
• Develop, deploy, and optimize AI applications with scripts and code.
• Create GraphQL-backed data workflows to support features.

What You'll Do:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify needs and uncover opportunities for AI-driven solutions.
• Develop, deploy, and optimize AI applications by writing effective scripts and code.
• Create backend scripts utilizing GraphQL to support data-driven functionalities.
• Write and maintain code to accelerate development and streamline testing processes.
• Design AI workflows incorporating both single-agent and multi-agent architectures.
• Document your development work thoroughly to ensure clarity, transparency, and continuity for the team.
• Develop automated testing frameworks based on agent vision modules to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Design evaluation processes to maintain consistency and ensure production-quality standards are met.
• Work closely with our Solution and UX Architect to deliver intelligent, user-friendly experiences.

Basic Qualifications:

• Junior or Senior standing by December 2025.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Pursuing a BS or MS degree in Computer Engineering, Data Science or related degrees.
• Experience with development frameworks like Vue.js, React and Node.js.
• Familiarity with the workings of LLMs, prompt engineering, context engineering and fine tuning.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Has completed at least one front-end project using Vue.js or React and is able to share a demonstration.
• Has completed at least one smart application project and is able to share a demonstration.
• Familiarity with cloud DevOps or/and MLOps or/and AIOps.

Where you will be:

This role is hybrid, requiring three days a week in-office at our HQ in Shakopee, MN, as specified in the job description. At Entrust, we have a distributed workforce.
