Job summary

Flight Centre Travel Group in Houston is seeking an AI Developer and Forward Deployed Engineer to build headless AI capabilities for Sam and Mel, exposing booking, servicing, and profile features to external agents and platforms.

You will design APIs across MCP, A2A, ACP, and CLI, create wrappers and adapters for protocol integrations, and work directly with enterprise customers to ensure successful deployments while traveling to customer sites as needed.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of software or AI engineering with strong integration expertise.
• Deep hands-on experience with MCP and A2A frameworks.
• Experience designing APIs and building protocol wrappers/adapters.
• CLI development experience is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites and work in NA time zones.

Responsibilities

• Build headless versions of Sam and Mel for external agents and platforms.
• Design APIs and services across MCP, A2A, ACP, and CLI interfaces.
• Develop wrappers/adapters for seamless protocol-based integrations.
• Implement and maintain integrations across MCP, A2A, and ACP.
• Engage with customers and translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Establish secure integration frameworks with governance and access controls.
• Travel to customer sites to ensure successful deployments.
