Job summary

Metrc LLC is seeking an experienced AI DevOps Engineer - Compliance Focused to lead the buildout of an internal, company-wide compliance AI ecosystem. This role operates in a privacy-first, highly regulated environment, deploying enterprise-grade AI solutions on internal hardware to ensure data isolation.

You will design and optimize local AI infrastructure, pipelines, and secure RAG systems, while collaborating with leadership to translate regulatory requirements into production-ready AI tools.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and deploying enterprise AI solutions in privacy-focused environments.
• Strong understanding of on-prem AI infra and security controls.
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into technical implementations.

Responsibilities

• Architect Local AI Infrastructure: design, deploy, and optimize open-source LLMs for private hardware clusters.
• Build Core AI Pipelines: robust local model inference, fine-tuning, and secure RAG systems.
• Enforce Complete Data Isolation: ensure AI capabilities integrate with internal data while complying with regulations.
