Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in enterprise cybersecurity operations (threat monitoring, incident response, risk analysis)
• 3+ years with data protection technologies (DLP, insider risk tools, DSPM for AI)
• 3+ years reviewing and triaging security alerts and documenting findings
• 3+ years collaborating with technical and non-technical teams to improve security posture
• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, IT, CS, or equivalent experience
• Foundational security certification required (Security+ or GIAC GSEC), with preferred certifications listed

Responsibilities

• Monitor and triage Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies and controls.
• Investigate data loss, exposure, and unauthorized access incidents.
• Support DSPM initiatives related to AI and Copilot.
• Review movement, storage and sharing of sensitive information.
• Assist in data classification and handling requirements.
• Participate in data governance initiatives and support data owners and stewards.
• Review and triage security alerts from DLP, Insider Risk Management, DSPM, and others.
• Investigate suspicious activity involving sensitive information and document findings.
• Escalate incidents per incident response procedures.
• Assist with containment, recovery and post-incident activities.
• Monitor Insider Risk Management alerts and cases; analyze user activity for policy violations.
• Conduct investigations with confidentiality and proper chain of evidence.
• Recommend corrective actions and risk mitigation strategies.
• Participate in third-party and vendor security assessments.
• Review vendor security documentation and audit reports.
• Identify cybersecurity risks from third-party services and track remediation.
• Support cybersecurity audits and compliance reviews.
• Collect and analyze evidence for regulatory requirements.
• Maintain documentation supporting compliance activities.
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical staff; prepare reports on security risks and trends.
• Contribute to cybersecurity awareness and training initiatives.
• Recommend improvements to security policies, procedures and controls.
