Job Title

Data Scientist

You are an Data Scientist who will help us leverage AI technologies while identifying and mitigating potential risks. This role is perfect for you if you are passionate about AI governance, ethical AI, and business strategy, and can apply your technical expertise to ensure our AI solutions align with business goals, regulations, and ethical standards.

In this role you'll:
  • Assess potential risks associated with AI, including bias, data privacy concerns, security vulnerabilities, robustness, and compliance challenges.

  • Conduct quantitative evaluation of AI models and AI systems performance, evaluate data and AI management tools, and test data and AI assessment tools or benchmarks.

  • Collaborate with compliance teams to ensure AI adherence to regulations such as GDPR, EU AI Act, and ethical AI guidelines.

  • Develop policies and technical recommendations for responsible AI usage, including guidelines for transparency, fairness, robustness, and accountability.

  • Monitor advancements in AI technology and AI adoption opportunities within the travel industry, including customer personalization, predictive analytics, and automation.

  • Advise on implementation feasibility and strategic impact.

We’d love to meet you, if:
  • You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, ideally with a specialization in AI or Data Science, or a related field.

  • You have experience in AI strategy, risk assessment, and governance, ideally in a technology-driven industry.

  • You possess knowledge of EU AI Act, ethical AI frameworks, and regulatory compliance standards, and can clearly distill compliance requirements into internal requirements for various teams including engineering, security, and legal.

  • You have excellent analytical skills, proficiency in programming languages, databases, and ETL with the ability to interpret AI trends, risks, and opportunities.

  • You can communicate complex AI concepts to various stakeholders.

  • You have experience with AI technologies (such as ML, NLP, GENAI, Agentic AI, Pandas, PyTorch or Tensorflow, Big Data) and their business applications. AI Development experience in a Production environment (AI Quality, AI Robustness, AI Monitoring, CICD) is beneficial.
