Job summary

Trinity Life Sciences in New York, NY is seeking an AI Intern on our Data Science & AI team for a 9-week summer program. The role is hybrid, with interns in the office 2–3 days a week; pay is $35/hour and 40 hours per week.

You will assist in developing AI/ML solutions for pharma and life sciences clients, research models, evaluate performance, and help prepare proposals and technical reports. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a relevant BS/MS program with at least one year remaining.
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.
• Familiarity with AI/ML, LLMs, and agentic frameworks.
• Ability to work both independently and in teams.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement AI, ML, and generative AI solutions for life sciences clients.
• Research AI models, approaches, tools, and implementation techniques for client use cases.
• Evaluate AI model performance and validate using healthcare data.
• Collaborate to design model enhancements and proofs-of-concept.
• Create materials for business development, including proposals and presentations.
• Prepare technical reports and clear communication of findings.
