Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, IT, Information Systems, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in data analysis, data architecture, data management, or data engineering.
• 3+ years of experience in the financial services industry (investment management or insurance).
• Proficiency with data management tools (Collibra, Alation, Informatica or similar).
• Experience with AI-assisted development and modern data engineering (Cursor, Copilot, dbt, Airflow).
• Proficiency with Python, R for analytics and scripting.
• Experience with data governance, data readiness, ontologies, and metadata.
• Travel up to 50% on average; limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

Responsibilities

• Lead data-driven transformation and risk analytics engagements for financial services clients.
• Manage delivery teams, shape solution approaches, and translate business needs into AI/data roadmap.
• Mentor junior team members and guide skill development.
• Drive modernization of business and tech processes supporting client objectives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and align priorities for large-scale AI initiatives.
• Oversee data discovery, governance foundation, and metadata curation.
• Design AI-powered agents and reusable tooling to speed delivery and quality.
• Provide technical oversight across data analysis, pipelines, and solution reviews.
• Own project documentation, status reporting, and client-ready deliverables.
• Facilitate workshops and present findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Build trusted client relationships and contribute to account growth.
