Job summary

Apple Inc. is seeking an AI Data Platform Engineer within the MSI team in Cupertino.

You will design, build, and operate scalable AI data platforms, data pipelines, and data quality frameworks to accelerate AI innovation across enterprise systems. Collaborate with AI/ML engineers and product teams to deliver production-ready data solutions, ensure platform reliability, security, and cost efficiency across cloud-native environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years designing and building scalable data platforms and distributed systems.
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL, with Java/Scala preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable AI data platforms, services, and APIs for model development and production.
• Develop data ingestion, transformation, and publishing pipelines for structured, unstructured, and multimodal data.
• Build AI-ready datasets through ground truth creation, data curation, annotation workflows, and metadata management.
