Job summary

Appsierra Group seeks a hands-on Network Engineer for data annotation and AI-enabled infrastructure work. You will troubleshoot production networks, analyze packet data, and contribute to ML-ready datasets while managing escalations and on‑call duties.

You will work with enterprise networks, including Wi‑Fi, switches, firewalls, and related infrastructure, applying your RCA and incident‑response skills to support AI systems. Fully remote across US & Canada with 1099 engagement.

Qualifications

• Current or recent Level 3/Tier 3/Principal Support Network Engineer experience with escalations.
• Hands-on enterprise networking across switches, wireless APs, firewalls and related infra.
• Experience in retail, healthcare, financial services, manufacturing, higher ed or hospitality.
• Strong Wi‑Fi/wireless networking expertise and practical packet analysis.

Responsibilities

• Review real‑world networking data, including logs, configurations, telemetry and event streams.
• Label and classify network behaviors, incidents, anomalies and failure patterns.
• Analyze networking events and identify likely causes, symptoms and outcomes.
• Apply troubleshooting and incident‑response skills to evaluate data.
• Help define schemas and structures for large‑scale datasets.
• Provide domain expertise that supports machine learning and AI systems.
