Job summary

Everforth ECS in Springfield, VA is seeking a Data Engineer to support an AI initiative. The role is hybrid, with mandatory on-site work at the Springfield, VA SCIF site and occasional Fairfax office.

You will develop and maintain data pipelines and perform data analysis to support AI development across classification levels. The ideal candidate has 2–8+ years of data engineering experience and strong Python, PySpark, and SQL skills, plus the ability to work in a classified environment.

Qualifications

• Must be a US citizen and able to obtain a TS/SCI clearance with poly.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 2–8+ years of related experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python, PySpark, and SQL; experience with ML data workflow support.

Responsibilities

• Participate in technical meetings with customers, vendors and internal teams to coordinate datasets for AI.
• Work in person at the required office and in classified locations as needed.
• Develop and document data workflows across environments and classification levels.
• Extract, transform, and load data for ML development environments.
• Collaborate with Program Manager and Data Team to determine data requirements.
• Identify and address technical challenges and automate data delivery.
• Propose internal process improvements to optimize data pipelines.
• Perform complex data analyses and present results clearly to the customer.
