Job summary

Plante Moran is building the next generation of its data and analytics platform, and we’re looking for an AI‑Native Data Engineer who is excited to build, experiment, and learn fast.

You’ll work in a modern Microsoft‑centric ecosystem built on Microsoft Fabric, Azure, and Power BI, designing scalable, governed solutions aligned to Medallion Architecture - with AI treated as part of the data engineering lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, IS or related field.
• 2–4 years in data engineering, analytics engineering, or software development.
• Strong SQL and Python for data transformation and pipeline logic.
• Hands-on with Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse/Data Engineering/Pipelines) and Azure Data Factory.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate automated, repeatable data pipelines in Microsoft Fabric and Azure with observability.
• Implement Medallion Architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold) for trusted data products.
• Ingest data from APIs and enterprise systems into lakehouses and Azure SQL stores.
• Develop transformations using Python/PySpark/Spark and SQL/T-SQL.
• Develop AI agentic workloads or show strong interest in agent-based patterns.
• Use Git and CI/CD for source control, reviews, and deployments.
